Evergreen Lodge was built in 1901 as a gentleman’s residence with commanding views over Torquay. Over 7 decades it has been a very private residence for several families. In recent years it has been converted into holiday apartments to a very high standard. Now in the hands of new owners most of the building has been put back to its former glory as a fine Victorian residence. Two holiday apartments however remain on the lower ground floor, which are separate from the main residence. These apartments each have their own private entrance and overlook the heated swimming pool and the secluded evergreen gardens. The apartments are of a high specification with all modern amenities.
